Mercedes Moné’s days as a belt collector are quickly fading after another championship slipped away this week.

Moné spent much of March traveling internationally to defend the titles she won throughout 2025, making stops in places like Mexico, Poland, Italy, and England. But instead of continuing her dominant run, the month turned into a losing streak that has cost her championship after championship.

That trend continued Tuesday night when Moné lost the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship to Jody Threat during the promotion’s annual Fight at the Museum event. The loss marked another setback in what has become a tough stretch for the former multi-title holder.

The match also served as redemption for Threat, who previously lost the title to Moné back in October. Threat earned her rematch by winning the Voyageur Cup tournament, defeating competitors including Allie Katch and Shayna Baszler along the way.

Moné’s recent run of losses comes after her TBS Championship reign ended on New Year’s Eve against Willow Nightingale. Since that defeat, she has been dropping titles one after another, slowly losing the collection that once made her one of the most decorated champions in wrestling.

Now, after her latest loss, she is down to just one remaining title — the APAC Women’s Championship. This latest defeat signals a major shift for Moné, whose global championship tour once made headlines across multiple promotions. With only one belt left, her next move could determine whether this marks the end of her belt collector era or the start of something new.

Do you think Mercedes Moné’s belt collector run is finished, or can she rebuild and start stacking titles again? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.
