Real American Freestyle made its successful debut on August 30th in Cleveland, Ohio and lots of names were in attendance for the show. This includes Matt Riddle and now it seems he’s interested in competing for the promotion in the future.

According to a report by PWInsider, Matt Riddle was backstage at the debut Real American Freestyle show. It was noted that he expressed interest in competing for the promotion in the future.

“Matt Riddle was backstage visiting and we are told expressed interest in competing in Real American Freestyle in the future.”

The debut show of Real American Freestyle featured the likes of Holly Holm, Tito Ortiz and more making their shocking appearances for the event. The show was electric and it was clear that a lot of love and effort was put into every aspect of it.

Matt Riddle obviously has an MMA background and he had a good relationship with Hulk Hogan. So, considering his skills, fans believe he would be a solid addition to Real American Freestyle.

Matt Riddle showing interest in Real American Freestyle makes the promotion’s future even more exciting. If he steps into their ring, his mix of MMA background and wrestling experience could attract both fight fans and wrestling audiences, so we’ll have to see when that will happen.
