WWE’s production crews have officially taken over MetLife Stadium as preparations begin for the first-ever two-night SummerSlam. With the massive Premium Live Event scheduled for August 2 and 3, work is already underway to transform the East Rutherford, New Jersey venue into WWE’s summer epicenter.
During the July 28 episode of WWE RAW—the go-home show before SummerSlam—a special sneak peek aired showing the early stages of the stadium setup. The visuals offered fans a glimpse at the sheer scale of the operation, with LED boards, rigging, and scaffolding being assembled across the NFL-sized arena.
Photos released during the broadcast showed that WWE is pulling out all the stops for this two-night showcase. From elaborate lighting rigs to massive entrance stages, it’s clear the company is preparing for a monumental weekend.
This marks WWE’s return to MetLife for a major event, and with the stadium’s size and layout, expectations are high for one of the most memorable SummerSlams in history.
