Marty Jannetty, who’s known Shawn Michaels for several years, has now addressed Bret Hart’s claim that Shawn and Vince McMahon were lovers.

While speaking to Monte and the Pharaoh, Marty Jannetty was asked to share his thoughts on Bret Hart claiming Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon were lovers.

“Vince and Shawn? They might have, but that’s not a secret in the wrestling world amongst the boys. That wasn’t a surprise.”

When asked whether he knew Shawn Michaels was bisexual, Jannetty said that during the years he and Shawn Michaels were traveling together, they were constantly on the road, spending over 300 days a year living out of hotels.

Jannety said that they rarely spent a night without female company, yet during one of those nights on the road, he recalled Shawn making a comment wondering what it might be like to be intimate with a man.

“You know, we were on the road 300 days a year and not even once did we come home without, you know, any girls, which was rare, or well, I say home, the hotel that was home. Um, never did we come home without a girl. Shawn laid over in his bed and he said, “Man, I wonder what it be like a suck a d***.”

Even then, Marty Jannetty admitted he never saw Shawn Michaels getting physical with a man but noted that many people thought he was bisexual. He noted how even Ricky Morton would tell him that. So, Jannetty believes Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon might have been lovers.

“I mean, never. But I mean, everybody thinks and says he is. Ricky Morton would tell me, “You know he’s a f****** fa****. You know he’s a fa****. So do I think Shawn might have? Yeah, I do.”

While Marty Jannetty believes there is truth to Bret Hart’s claim, Jim Ross made it clear he doesn’t think that’s true at all and shut down that claim immediately. Regardless, we’ll just have to see whether Shawn Michaels will end up responding to this claim in the future.

What do you think about Marty Jannetty not disagreeing with Bret Hart’s claim? Do you also think it could be true? Sound off in the comments.
