Marq Quen is officially out of action, and his Private Party partner Isiah Kassidy says the situation has left him standing alone with no clear timeline for his teammate’s return.

During Thursday’s episode of AEW Collision, Kassidy addressed Jon Moxley following recent tensions between the two sides. Moxley had previously told Private Party they needed to change after he and Daniel Garcia defeated the former AEW Tag Team Champions on the March 28 episode of Collision. Kassidy revealed that Quen is currently sidelined after being taken out, and he admitted that he doesn’t know how long his partner will be gone.

“Fast forward to last weekend. I'm forced to change again. Because you took out my boy. And now he's out. And I don't know when he's coming back. So now I'm all alone.”

Kassidy also reminded Moxley that this isn’t the first time he’s been forced to adapt because of him. He recalled how a previous confrontation led to a hand injury that ultimately pushed Private Party to evolve — a move that ended with championship gold.

“Last time we had this dance, you tried to take my hand out. And you forced me to change. And guess what happened? We became tag team champions.”

Despite losing his partner, Kassidy made it clear he’s not backing down and plans to keep moving forward even while Quen remains sidelined. He delivered a message about fighting through adversity and taking whatever opportunity comes next.

“Because you took out my boy. And now he's out. And I don't know when he's coming back… I've been drowning my whole life. I learned how to breathe down here… Best believe I'mma eat because I'm starving for opportunity.”

Private Party had only recently returned to AEW television in February after being away for more than a year, making Quen’s latest absence another setback for the team just as they were rebuilding momentum. With Quen now confirmed to be out and no timetable announced, the spotlight shifts to Kassidy and how he handles competing on his own while waiting for his partner to return.

Do you think Private Party can bounce back once Marq Quen returns, or should AEW consider pushing Isiah Kassidy as a singles star while his partner is out? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.
