Mark Henry is tired of the confusion when it comes to his relationship with WWE—and now he’s clearing it up once and for all.

During a conversation with SHAK Wrestling, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed rumors that he’s signed to a typical Legends deal with the company. But according to Henry, that’s not the case at all.

Henry said he doesn’t have a Legends contract, despite what fans—or even Wikipedia—might say. Instead, he broke down exactly what kind of agreement he has with WWE.

“Well, I don’t have a Legends [contract]. We got to correct Wikipedia. Deal? What, sir? I have a business… I have a nostalgia deal… I have a business deal.”

When asked what that deal includes, Henry explained that it’s all based on licensing, merchandising, and select appearances—not the usual Legends obligations like Hall of Fame ceremonies or frequent TV segments.

“You know what? Video games, action figures, appearances, corporate meetings, upfronts, different things to that effect is what I do. You know, the showing up on television and going and doing community activations and so forth and being a part of a lot of the skits and so forth, that’s more of the Legends — you know, going to the Hall of Fames and different things. I don’t do that.”

Part of the reason Henry avoids those typical Legends events? His focus on building his own brand—specifically, All Caribbean Wrestling. Henry made it clear that being tied down to WWE’s full Legends schedule would interfere with his other business priorities.

“It will affect All Caribbean. Because, like, they have a pay-per-view the same time that we have our pay-per-view. So, I’m going to leave my pay-per-view? Or not go to my pay-per-view? And that’s going to be on Triller, by the way… Fight TV.”

Henry’s deal gives him the freedom to stay involved with WWE in a limited, business-focused capacity, while still running All Caribbean Wrestling and pursuing other projects.
