Mark Henry is speaking out—and he’s not backing down when it comes to defending Vince McMahon.

While appearing on the Nailz Knows podcast, Mark Henry addressed the ongoing criticism surrounding Vince McMahon, including the serious allegations tied to the trafficking lawsuit involving Janel Grant. But instead of distancing himself, Henry made it clear he’s judging McMahon based on his own personal experiences.

Henry started by pushing back on the idea that McMahon ever tried to control or pressure him into doing something he didn’t agree with, making it clear that he always stood firm on his values.

“You ask Vince — did he ever try to punish me? Because he ain’t got enough money to question my integrity. That’s real. I’ve been offered jobs to do things that I didn’t want to do, and I said no. It looked bad on a Black dude to do that. All right, Mark, I see your conviction.”

He then shared a deeply personal story about how McMahon supported him during one of the toughest moments of his life—when his mother passed away—revealing that he was given time off without any pressure and continued to be paid throughout.

“My mama died. Vince was like, ‘Look, man, I know you’re a mama’s boy. Get out of here. You come back when you’re ready.’ I was out a year. He paid me every day, every week. Never questioned anything, like you at home milking it or none of that. Like, you come back when you’re good.”

Henry acknowledged the criticism surrounding McMahon but made it clear that, in his view, no one is perfect—and that includes everyone being judged.

“So people can say whatever they want about him. You know, he’s flawed like every other man on earth. And when I say man, I mean every man too. We all flawed. We all going to fall short of being Christ.”

At the same time, Henry drew a firm line in how he evaluates people, explaining that his judgment is based on personal treatment—not public opinion or outside pressure. He also addressed criticism directed at him for not taking certain public stances, making it clear he won’t be dictated by expectations from others.

“But the one thing that I know for a fact is I’m going to judge you by how you treat me. If I have to ostracize you because of the masses, you brought that on yourself. There’s people that’s mad at me now because I didn’t come to their aid over racism. They gonna have to bear that cross — that’s not mine.”

Henry closed his remarks by making it clear that what you see is what you get when it comes to his perspective—no filters, no adjustments: “So that’s who you get when you talk to Mark Henry.”

The comments come at a time when Vince McMahon continues to face tons of backlash, but Henry’s stance shows that not everyone in the wrestling world is distancing themselves—especially those with personal experiences that tell a different story.
