Mariah May and Toni Storm’s feud has been going on for several months, and it will culminate at AEW Revolution. Ahead of the event, May ended up attacking Storm at the Queen of the Ring red carpet event, and now May has justified her actions.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo, Mariah May was asked about her actions on the red carpet, specifically why she chose to attack Toni Storm at that moment. May stated that she wanted to bring a real star to the event because she didn’t think Toni Storm would look good.

Mariah May didn’t like that Toni Storm called herself “God” and questioned if she thought she was untouchable. She wanted to prove that Toni wasn’t, saying she could be slapped in the face even at her own movie premiere. Mariah May ended by saying that without her, there would be no Toni Storm, making it clear that she saw herself as the real star.

“Well, I just figured this red carpet needed a real star, and we all know Toni Storm isn’t going to look very good—so I’m here Toni Storm wants to go around and call herself God. Does she think she’s untouchable or something? I’m here to prove that she can be touched. In fact, she can be slapped in the face at her own movie premiere. And now, everybody can see what a real star looks like—because without me, there is no Toni Storm.”
