Mandy Rose hasn’t wrestled for WWE since 2022, but that hasn’t stopped her from trending online—constantly. Now, she’s speaking out about why her name keeps popping up, even though she’s been out of the ring for nearly three years.
On her YouTube channel, Mandy addressed the multiple times she’s trended recently, and she knows exactly why it keeps happening. One of the biggest reasons? Her surprise return to the ring—kind of. It wasn’t a comeback match, but part of a YouTube-style vlog for OFTV, where she teamed up with Elayna Black (aka Cora Jade) to film some light in-ring content.
“I was actually trending for a few different reasons. Um, one, I got back in a wrestling ring for the first time in almost three years. Wow. Which was crazy. So, we were doing an OFTV video — it’s basically like a YouTube vlog-style video — where Elayna Black, aka Cora Jade, aka Brie, was involved.”
That moment alone sparked buzz, but Mandy says there’s a pattern to all the attention—and it happens every time a woman leaves WWE or NXT.
“Anytime someone gets fired or ends up going separate ways with WWE or NXT — especially if it’s a hot girl or someone people could see doing, you know, subscription-based platform type things — I immediately get tagged in so many posts on Twitter.”
The tweets get wild. Mandy shared that she’s constantly being called the “godfather” or “god woman” of wrestlers pivoting to subscription-based platforms—and she’s not mad about it.
“They were calling me the godfather — or maybe the god woman — of it all. I couldn’t stop laughing. There were a few tweets I screenshotted that cracked me up. One said, ‘Mandy Rose is f***** hilarious, bro. She’s really collecting WWE releases like the Infinity Stones.’”*
But the trending didn’t stop there. Another viral moment happened when a mystery attacker delivered a bicycle knee during a recent NXT segment involving Jacy Jayne and Lola Vice. The move looked so much like Mandy’s signature that fans immediately thought it was her under the mask—and once again, her name exploded online.
“The girl that took out Lola Vice, who was wrestling Jacy Jayne for the title last week, she did my bicycle knee on the outside. She was all covered up in black… but they thought it was me. They were saying it was my bicycle knee — and then I was trending again.”
Whether she’s filming vlogs or just getting name-dropped in tweets, Mandy Rose remains a force in wrestling conversations—without ever having to step back in a WWE ring.
