BJ Ray showed up at TNA’s Turning Point looking to stir things up—but the response he got might’ve been more than he bargained for.
The former WWE LFG breakout was seated front row at the TNA Countdown pre-show and decided to mock the action in the ring, sharing a clip with a blunt caption: “POV: I would clap these dorks easy lmao.”
That dig didn’t sit well with Steph De Lander, who snapped back with a reality check of her own, tweeting: “You paid a ticket to come and watch us lol. Stay on that side of the barricade where you belong.”
In a cheeky turn, BJ tried to play it cool by quote-tweeting her with a flirty line: “You are my new celebrity crush 😩.”
But then came the real hammer—this time from one of the men BJ Ray mocked directly. Mance Warner, who wrestled in that same pre-show match and happens to be Steph De Lander’s husband, fired back on X with a brutal, no-nonsense takedown:
“Bought a ticket
Sat in the crowd
Freshly shit canned
Trying to clown on talent who are getting paid to fight
Good luck on the indie run the business ain’t for everyone”
BJ Ray, who was let go by WWE on October 10, had been wrestling with a torn rotator cuff and labrum for two full seasons before undergoing surgery. His in-ring charisma made him a fan favorite on WWE LFG, and since his release, he’s stayed on the sidelines—until Turning Point weekend, when he popped up ringside with plenty to say.
It’s unclear whether Ray was looking to start something or just poking fun, but Mance Warner’s response made it clear: this isn’t the kind of crowd you want to clown from behind the barricade.
Do you think BJ Ray crossed the line, or is Mance Warner being too sensitive? Sound off with your take—we want to hear what you think.
