Malakai Black may be finishing up his time in AEW, but the rest of the House of Black isn’t slowing down. A recent trademark filing suggests that Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart could be moving forward under a brand-new name.

According to official filings, Brody King has trademarked “Hounds of Hell” for merchandising purposes, fueling speculation that the remaining House of Black members are rebranding. The filing covers a wide range of products, including:

“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, ties as clothing, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas.”

With Malakai Black’s AEW departure all but confirmed, it appears the faction is moving forward with a fresh identity. While no official announcement has been made, this filing strongly suggests that King, Matthews, and Hart will continue as a dominant force in AEW under the “Hounds of Hell” banner.
