WWE is gearing up for another massive international stadium event, and this time, they’re heading back to France.
According to WrestleVotes, the company is preparing to announce a premium live event titled ‘Clash in Paris’, set for Sunday, August 31, at Paris La Défense Arena.
The official announcement is reportedly coming “any day now,” marking WWE’s return to France after last year’s wildly successful Backlash in Lyon. That event was one of WWE’s most talked-about shows of the year, with fans and wrestlers alike praising the electric French crowd. Even Triple H acknowledged how special the atmosphere was, revealing that WWE was already discussing a return to the country.
This time, WWE looks to be going even bigger. Paris La Défense Arena is the largest indoor arena in Europe, and hosting a show there would be a statement that WWE sees France as a key market. If Backlash was any indication, French fans are ready to bring the energy once again.
With WWE already set for Bash in Berlin on August 31, the addition of a second major international event on the same weekend signals a major push for WWE’s global expansion. Now, all eyes are on WWE to officially confirm the event and start building the card.
