Becky Lynch’s heel turn on RAW after WrestleMania 41 had fans fired up—and so did the rumors that followed.
After teaming with Lyra Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, Lynch turned on her partner just 24 hours later. The shocking betrayal was all Lynch’s idea, according to Wrestling Observer Live’s Bryan Alvarez, who said, “This whole thing was Becky’s idea. It was all Becky’s idea.”
But while the wrestling world was still reacting to the storyline, fans online started speculating about the next chapter in Lynch’s character. One popular post from the @HeelCena account claimed, “After turning HEEL, Becky Lynch is expected to become The First Paul Heyman Girl! Both Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins together with Paul Heyman as their Wiseman!”
That was all it took for a WWE Hall of Famer to step in and correct the narrative. Alundra Blayze—known to WCW fans as Madusa—caught wind of the post and quickly put the brakes on the claim. She fired back on Twitter with a sharp reminder: “You better check your Wrestling history…”
Madusa famously worked with Paul Heyman back in the early days of ECW, making her the actual first “Paul Heyman Girl” long before the idea was attached to Becky Lynch.
It’s important to note that the rumors of Lynch joining forces with Heyman are strictly online chatter at this point. WWE hasn’t confirmed any such plans, and there’s no indication that Heyman himself is on board.
Still, Madusa made it crystal clear—when it comes to Heyman’s legacy, she was first.
