AEW has plenty of stars who aren’t always featured on television for one reason or another. This includes Toni Storm’s butler, Luther, who’s been gone for quite some and now his current status during his absence has been revealed.

While speaking during a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Luther and why he hasn’t been on AEW TV recently. Sapp explained that Luther is still signed with AEW and under contract.

Sapp added that Luther has been working behind the scenes as a match producer and coach, though AEW’s producer lists are harder to track, so there aren’t many other details about his current role.

“He’s still with All Elite Wrestling and under contract, but I don’t know beyond that. He’d been producing/coaching matches for quite a while as well. However, the producer lists aren’t as easy to procure there.”

The last time fans saw Luther was at AEW All In: Texas during Toni Storm’s match against Mercedes Moné. During one spot, Luther carried Storm and then Mercedes hit a Meteora on him and took him out indefinitely.

Toni Storm has constantly joked that Luther broke his penis because of Mercedes’ attack and no one knows when he’ll be back. Regardless, only time will tell when Luther will make his presence felt on AEW television again.

What do you think about Luther’s current role in AEW? Do you want to see him return alongside Toni Storm, or should he continue focusing on producing matches behind the scenes? Sound off in the comments.
