Ludwig Kaiser’s love life just became storyline ammo — and it happened on WWE’s official social media.

In a newly released WWE clip, El Grande Americano didn’t just accuse Kaiser of stealing his identity — he took aim at his real-life relationship with WWE-owned AAA backstage interviewer Andrea Bazarte.

The promo, uploaded to WWE’s digital platforms, featured the Original El Grande Americano, portrayed by Chad Gable, addressing the impersonation angle that’s been building. But things escalated fast when he shifted from masks to personal matters. He introduced himself with a dramatic tone before throwing the first punch.

“Hello! My name is El Grande Americano, a victim of identity theft. For the last six months, I’ve watched some guy running around impersonating a Mexican Luchador, singing songs in Spanish, going as far as to date a Mexican Woman. Only to try to convince all of you of being as authentic as me. This man doesn’t know the history of Lucha Libre.”

Bazarte’s name wasn’t spoken in the clip, but the reference was obvious. Kaiser and Bazarte are officially together, and their relationship has been public for months. Now it’s part of the narrative — even if it’s playing out digitally.

The timing makes it even more interesting. Kaiser previously dated Tiffany Stratton earlier in 2025 before that relationship ended. Now, his current relationship is being used as part of a rivalry angle tied to cultural authenticity and identity.

Do you think bringing Kaiser’s real-life relationship into the storyline raises the stakes, or is that crossing a line? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
