Ludwig Kaiser has seen a career resurgence as a singles star as he has impressed many fans and wrestlers alike with his in-ring skills and heel dynamics. However, some fans have wondered if he will ever turn babyface in the future and now Kaiser has addressed potentially becoming a babyface in WWE.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Ludwig Kaiser talked about the possibility of becoming a babyface in WWE. He believes he could have a good run as a fan favorite in WWE. However, he pointed out how in the past he has always been a polarizing figure.

Kaiser added that even when he was a babyface in Germany, the crowd was never fully on his side. This is because some fans liked him, while others did not. Most of the time, kids and women cheered for him, while men booed him.

“You know what? Never say never. I do believe that I can work as a babyface. I actually think I have a good babyface run in me. Even when I was in Germany as a babyface, I was never the type where 100% of the crowd was on my side. I was always very polarizing—either people hated me or liked me. Most of the time, the kids and women liked me, and the men hated my guts.”

Kaiser remembered a time in wXw when he was supposed to be a top babyface, but the fans didn’t accept it. Around 80% of the crowd was against him, and only 20% supported him, making it a tough experience.

“There was a time in wXw where I was supposed to be the babyface runner-up, and they absolutely hated it. It was like 80% against me and 20% for me, and the crowd was just killing me out there.”

Even then, Ludwig Kaiser thinks he has what it takes to be a babyface. However, for now, he wants to focus on being a great heel because that just feels more natural to him.

“But yeah, I do think I have it in me. First of all, though, I have to knock this heel thing out, be natural, and be who I am—because that comes more naturally to me.”

While Kaiser’s role as a heel has been a highlight in WWE, a babyface run could definitely change things up for him. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if he turns babyface in the future, as fans might support him in a big way.
