Anthony Jensen isn’t holding back anymore—and he just called out The Young Bucks over what he says is a straight-up lie about Lucha Underground’s offer.

During the debut episode of Goin’ Underground with Marty Elias & Jonah, the former Lucha Underground co-executive producer and contract handler fired back at claims that Matt and Nick Jackson were only offered $250 per match to join the cult wrestling promotion. That story, originally shared by Konnan in 2020, has made the rounds for years—but Jensen says it’s complete fiction.

“My offer to them was $1,500 for the team or $750 if they did their own individual thing per episode,” Jensen said. He added that depending on how matches were structured, the Bucks could’ve earned either tag team or singles pay, noting that they could even appear in multiple segments over a weekend taping.

But instead of negotiating or even responding, Jensen said the brothers ghosted him. “They ended up going sort of radio silent on me,” he revealed. Things took a turn when he later saw one of the Bucks repeating the $250 rumor on Instagram. “Of course I stepped in and said, ‘You know that’s not right. That’s absolute horsesht.’”*

He didn’t stop there. “Not accepting the deal, no big deal to me. I get it. Do what you feel is best for you. But don’t go out in the real world and lie about it. That just pisses me off.” Jensen added that The Young Bucks weren’t the only ones to misrepresent negotiations, calling out “several people” from the show for twisting the truth publicly over the years. “And it’s the people you expect,” he said flatly.

Jensen also spoke on the podcast about Lucha Underground’s eventual cancellation and hinted that there’s still interest in reviving the brand down the line—but he made it clear that when it comes to history, he’s not letting false narratives slide.

Did The Young Bucks cross the line by spinning the story, or is this all just part of the wrestling business? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
