AEW isn’t letting “Daddy Magic” go anywhere.

Fightful Select’s reports that Matt Menard has inked a brand-new deal to stay with All Elite Wrestling for the long haul. Originally, Menard’s contract was set to expire around AEW All In, but he opted to commit his future to the company instead of testing the waters elsewhere.

The new deal is a five-year contract that will keep Menard in AEW until the summer of 2030. Those close to the situation say he couldn’t be happier about it. The source explained that Menard was thrilled to stay in AEW. “He was ecstatic to stay,” the report noted, emphasizing his loyalty to the promotion.

While Menard has transitioned into more of a semi-active role in the ring since last year, competing only a handful of times in 2025, he still occasionally teams with longtime partner Angelo Parker. Outside of wrestling, he’s been a consistent voice on commentary for the past couple of years and is considered a respected and well-liked presence in the AEW locker room.

This extension cements Menard’s role as both an on-screen personality and a valuable backstage contributor for years to come.
