MJF didn’t just show up to cause chaos at MLW Summer of the Beasts—he’s sticking around.

The wrestling world was caught off guard on June 26 when the former AEW World Champion made a surprise appearance at MLW’s event in New York City, attacking Mistico and reigniting their cross-promotional feud. But now it looks like that wasn’t a one-off.

According to a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the belief within MLW is that MJF will be making additional appearances for the company in the near future. The report didn’t indicate exactly when or where his next appearance will take place, but Ringside News will continue to keep you updated.

Fans inside the Melrose Ballroom were stunned when MJF unmasked himself during Mistico’s live promo. The AEW star blindsided Mistico after he fended off CONTRA henchmen, ripping off his mask to reveal his trademark smug grin. He then grabbed a mic and promised to embarrass Mistico and his home country.

The move sent shockwaves through the venue—and MLW’s locker room couldn’t have been happier. Those within the company were reportedly thrilled with how the moment came together, adding to the momentum MLW has been building with strong crowds over the past year and a half.

The same weekend as MJF’s surprise appearance, MLW also hosted an international summit in New York City with top executives from NJPW and CMLL to strengthen their ongoing alliance. With MLW, New Japan, and CMLL working closely behind the scenes, MJF’s extended involvement could add even more fuel to the growing partnership.

Are you excited to see MJF work more MLW shows? Or should he focus strictly on AEW? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know where you stand on this cross-promotional chaos.
