Lola Vice is getting brutally honest about her struggles—and how WWE helped turn her life around.

During an appearance on Busted Open After Dark with Bully Ray, the NXT star opened up about the dark side of her MMA career, including the eating disorder that developed from years of cutting weight. Vice credited her time in WWE for giving her the balance and confidence she never had before.

“I had to do a lot of work on myself and, you know, fighting my whole life, I went through challenges but one of the biggest one is that I had an eating disorder from cutting weight for so many years. And when I got here, I kind of like that changed and I was able to better my health and better my mental health in every aspect. And I feel like this year more than anything, I’ve really found that peace and balance in my life and I’m happy every day and I’m confident in myself and I believe in myself more than ever.”

Vice didn’t shy away from how hard that journey was but made it clear she’s in a much better place now. The mood lightened when Bully Ray joked that Tommy Dreamer suffers from a different kind of eating disorder—overeating—which got a laugh out of Vice, showing she was comfortable discussing her past while keeping things light.

The former MMA fighter has quickly made a name for herself in WWE, but it’s her off-screen growth that might be the most impressive. Overcoming personal struggles and stepping into the spotlight with newfound confidence is a battle many never win—but Vice isn’t backing down.
