The April 7 edition of NXT brought the fallout after Stand & Deliver. This was a big night for a lot of people, especially Lola Vice.
Lola Vice closed out the show this week as the new NXT Women’s Champion. She danced to the ring, and looked stunning as 1/2 of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions and NXT Women’s Champion as well.
The NXT Arena gave Lola Vice tons of love over her big Stand & Deliver win. She received some “you deserve it” chants as she was proud to proclaim herself as the first Cuban champion in WWE history.
Lola Vice spoke about how she was humbled when she first showed up in NXT. She was a wipe out and had to start from scratch. Vice took her brand worldwide after that as she made sure that there were no questions left.
After Lola Vice said she is undeniable, she said that “earning something will always mean something more than having it handed to you.” She is now a WWE Superstar, and no longer just a crossover from MMA. Then Fatal Influence came out to ruin Lola’s time. Jacy Jayne congratulated Lola for the win as she instructed her to enjoy it, because “it’s the last win you’ll ever get off me.”
Jacy Jayne said that she’s been in this situation before, but now all she’s done is set her up to be a record-breaking three-time NXT Women’s Champion. Fans booed Fatal Influence in a big way, and then Robert Stone came out to grant Jacy Jayne her rematch for the NXT Women’s Championship next week at NXT Revenge on April 14.
