Logan Paul’s road to SummerSlam nearly took a nosedive—literally. Just before WWE’s huge two-night event, The Maverick had an unexpected mid-air scare while flying into his hometown of Cleveland for SmackDown.

During his latest YouTube vlog, Logan showed footage from the flight where he and his crew were celebrating a team member’s birthday on a rented private jet. What started as a festive mid-flight bash quickly turned chaotic when the plane’s interior systems started cutting out. Lights flickered, systems went dark, and for a brief moment, things looked dicey.

According to Logan and his crew, the entire jet’s power went out before they found the issue—an unstable switch that required a quick fix. The solution? Good ol’ electrical tape. And the explanation from the pilot raised a few eyebrows.

“This G5 was $15,000 cheaper than every other airplane on the market,” the pilot told them, hinting that the bargain deal may have come with hidden risks.

While the situation didn’t stop Logan from making his SmackDown appearance, it added a layer of drama before he and Drew McIntyre face off against Randy Orton and Jelly Roll at SummerSlam. Speaking of which, Jelly Roll already planted Logan with a Black Hole Slam in front of the Cleveland crowd—capping off a chaotic homecoming.

Thankfully, Logan made it safely to the arena—and to SummerSlam weekend. But next time, maybe spend the extra 15 grand?
