John Cena’s final match is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, 2025—but the biggest surprise may not be in the ring.
In recent weeks, rumors have circulated about former U.S. President Donald Trump possibly attending the event at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. While nothing is confirmed, the idea alone has sparked plenty of speculation—and now, Logan Paul is weighing in.
Speaking to FoxNews.com, Logan Paul acknowledged the backstage talk while admitting he doesn’t know if WWE plans to go through with it.
“We (people in the WWE) have talked about it. I have no idea. It seems like something that could happen. I think it’d be awesome. But I don’t know how political the WWE wants to get, so I’m not sure.”
While Paul’s response doesn’t confirm anything, it does suggest the conversation has happened internally. Given Trump’s long history with WWE—including his 2013 Hall of Fame induction and appearances at WrestleMania—it wouldn’t be out of character for him to show up for one of the company’s biggest sendoffs ever.
Logan Paul also reflected on his match against Cena at Clash in Paris, which didn’t end in his favor. Despite the loss, he was quick to show respect.
“I am disappointed that I did not come out victorious. He’s really good. I don’t know what to say. Like, halfway through the match, I was like, ‘Oh, this is like a different level of wrestler.’ But yeah, I mean, it’s John Cena, so I got my match.”
As for whether he’ll get a second shot at Cena?
“I’ll see if I can try to convince him to come back for one more so I can beat him next time. But although he told me that he’s not going to do that, he’s not going to do that.”
Cena has made it clear his December 13 match will be the final one of his career, but appearances beyond that—like Raw After WrestleMania—remain on the table. As for who’ll be in the building to witness the retirement match, the door remains wide open.
