Logan Paul has never been shy about making bold claims, but now he’s hinting at something even bigger—running for President.
During his latest YouTube vlog, The Maverick was watching a podcast discussing how politics in the U.S. had changed and how the country needed a leader who knew when to be political. Paul said he got “goosebumps” listening to the discussion and agreed with most of it—except for one detail.
“Wow, I just got goosebumps, bro. I can’t tell if it’s because I’m cold and this can is cold or if that excited me. But that’s sick, it’s a big podcast called How to Take Over the World. I have to disagree with him though. He said ‘I’m controversial,’ which I think is not true at all. I think everyone loves me right here.”
Paul then shifted the conversation to his new show, Paul American, before dropping a major tease about running for office. He compared his and Jake Paul’s rise to fame to the American Dream, saying their skills could one day help them lead the country.
“Look at this, Paul American, you think this show title is just a catchy show title? No, we believe we’re living the modern American Dream. Two kids who picked up a cell phone and had access to the internet, made a whole life and career for themselves and maybe one day, we could use our skills in running the greatest country in the world. Paul 2040.”
Celebrities crossing over into politics isn’t unheard of—Donald Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jesse Ventura all made the jump from entertainment to public office. Whether Paul is serious or just stirring up conversation, he’s got plenty of time to make a real move before 2040.
