Raja Jackson brutally assaulting Syko Stu nearly cost Stu his life and the whole world has already commented on the situation. Weeks after the incident, Logan Paul has now revealed his thoughts on the matter and made it clear Jackson should be jailed.
While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul spoke out against Raja Jackson’s attack on Syko Stu, saying Raja should be in jail. He explained that this wasn’t just assault, it looked like Raja was trying to kill someone, and the fact that it was live-streamed on his Kick channel made it even worse.
Paul said wrestling is about trust between performers to make things look real, but stay safe. Raja broke that trust, went off script and attacked Stu with more than twenty punches. To Paul, it looked like an attempted murder and he added that Jackson was insane.
“He belongs in jail. I firmly, 10,000% believe he belongs in jail. Assault is an understatement. He tried to kill a man. And it was live-streamed on his Kick channel. Raja still hasn’t been arrested. And by the way, this isn’t like a witch hunt. I’m not pushing for legislation reform or something here, but that seems… he belongs in jail. I firmly, 10,000% believe he belongs in jail. Assault is an understatement. He tried to kill a man. He tried to kill a man and it was live-streamed on his Kick channel.
Because you are an angry young man who has a lot of pent-up aggression and you think people are playing with you, or whatever your interpretation of life is—that doesn’t mean you get to get in a ring and beat up a performer. A performer. He isn’t anybody on the street, especially Jeff. Definitely not anybody. But it’s a situation where, okay, I’m a professional wrestler, I saw this, I know what it’s supposed to look like. Dude, you’re in there trusting each other to put on a performance and make something look good and entertaining.
To completely go off script and try to f****** kill someone—you’re mentally insane. It’s criminal. It’s criminal behavior. I couldn’t believe what I was watching when I saw the video. Twenty, twenty-one, twenty-two punches.”
Paul said that at first, Syko Stu thought Raja was just acting in character because there was a camera around. This made things even sadder, since Stu is an Army veteran who has PTSD and wrestles to cope with it.
Later, AJ Mana told Raja to “get your receipt,” which in wrestling means hit back for real, making the situation worse. Paul said if Raja hadn’t been pulled off, he might have actually killed Stu.
“Syko Stu thought that when Raja walked up, he was working in character. In character, because he saw a camera and was building the bit. It seemed like he was building backstage beef in the form of what’s called a ‘work,’ as we know. Psycho Stew also is an Army veteran. He suffers from PTSD. He wrestles because of it. Which makes this whole thing 100% the worst part. Then later a different amateur wrestler told Raja, ‘Get your receipt.’ Which in wrestling terms means slam him, get back in there. No. Not just slam him. Hit him for real. Hit him for real.
Dude, he probably would have killed the guy if he wasn’t yanked off. That’s why I say put him in jail. I thought I was about to watch someone try to commit murder. That’s what that video looked like.
He tried to murder him. That’s what that video looked like. I thought I was about to watch someone try to commit murder.”
Paul’s co-host Mike added that if Raja had only slammed Stu hard or hit him once and left, there probably wouldn’t have been any charges, it might have just been a shocking clip online. But after that first slam, everything Raja did was criminal. Stu was knocked out after being slammed on his head, and the attacks that followed were serious crimes.
Mike also explained that Raja couldn’t even argue it was a “crime of passion” because the first incident, the can smash, happened an hour earlier. He had time to calm down but chose not to. Both Paul and Mike agreed this was criminal behavior and that Raja should go to jail.
“If you just slammed him hard and, to your point, maybe smacked him in the face or something like that and then left, bro, there would be no charges. There would be no conversation. It would have been a sick clip and everything would have been fine. Everything that happened after that moment is attempted murder, or at least some sort of hardcore assault charge.
He was knocked out right after the slam. Yeah, because he slammed him on his head. He basically held him by his lower body and smashed him on his head. Even if it was just that and you knocked out a wrestler, everything after that is jail time. There’s no excuse for it. Doesn’t matter if he smashed him with a can or a wrench an hour before—because you have to have self-control.
And a thing to remember, too, is regardless of what happened, he can’t claim crime of passion or anything because it happened an hour earlier. The can smash was an hour before that. You’ve had time to calm down. Any normal human would have processed the emotion, calmed down, realized that everything was going to be okay.”
Raja Jackson is actually awaiting an arrest warrant following his attack on Syko Stu. Despite that, Rampage Jackson still believes that Syko Stu should take accountability for everything that happened. So we’ll have to wait and see when Jackson will be brought to justice, as an investigation is still going on.
