Logan Paul is finally pulling back the curtain on the Bad Bunny speculation — and he’s admitting there’s more to the story than a simple “NO.”
After stirring up headlines with a blunt dismissal of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show, Paul has now addressed the backlash and the growing rumors that he could step into a WWE ring with the global music superstar. Speaking on a recent episode of his ImPaulsive podcast, the former United States Champion made it clear: the idea of Logan Paul vs. Bad Bunny in WWE isn’t random internet fantasy — it’s something that has been discussed. Paul didn’t hold back when explaining what really happened.
“Let’s peel back the fng curtain. I’m going to stop fking around. Bad Bunny is a world-renowned superstar. He also can be a WWE superstar when he wants. He’s a good wrestler. He can f**ng wrestle. There have been talks about maybe us wrestling. It’s been floated around. I’ve been candid about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.”
That’s a massive statement considering Bad Bunny’s track record in WWE. The Grammy winner last competed in May 2023, defeating Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight that delivered one of the loudest crowd reactions in recent WWE memory. Paul, meanwhile, has built a reputation as one of WWE’s most athletic celebrity crossovers, delivering show-stealing performances at WrestleMania and beyond. But what about that viral Super Bowl comment? Paul admitted his dismissive reaction was intentional — at least mostly.
“In that regard, any time I’m asked about Bad Bunny, I think that in the back of my mind. To set that up, when I’m asked if I’m excited, saying ‘no,’ one word, now people are talking about it. However, there is truth to the fact that I’m a 30-year-old man. I’m not excited about any halftime show. I don’t care. I didn’t even really watch the game that much. I was ripping packs. I’d say 80-20. Yeah. 80 being work. 20% like, I don’t care if it’s Bad Bunny performing or someone else.”
In other words, Paul says most of it was storyline strategy — a calculated move to spark conversation and potentially lay groundwork for something bigger. He had already hinted at the scale of such a match during a February 12 appearance on The Takedown, where he called it a “big money match” that would extend far beyond the WWE audience. Now he’s confirming that discussions, at least loosely, have existed behind the scenes.
The idea of Logan Paul vs. Bad Bunny would pit two of the biggest crossover names in modern WWE against each other — both proven draws, both legitimate in-ring performers, and both capable of bringing mainstream eyes to wrestling. For now, nothing is official. But with Paul admitting talks have been “floated around,” this potential blockbuster is no longer just fan fantasy.
