Steve Austin turned down a $1 million offer to wear a PRIME bottle costume and Austin made it clear he wasn’t necessarily happy about Logan Paul revealing the offer to the world. With that in mind, it appears The Maverick has now issued an apology to the Texas Rattlesnake.

Logan Paul issued an apology to Steve Austin during his vlog on his YouTube channel. He was addressing a poster of the Texas Rattlesnake on a WWE production truck, where Paul said he didn’t mean to share private business talks. He said he was hungover after a crazy night in Vegas and talked too much on his podcast.

Paul admitted he often says things he shouldn’t because he has a big mouth and a platform. He told Steve Austin he was sorry and hoped he didn’t mess up their relationship, and also said he still wants to work with him one day.

“Mr Cold, I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize. I didn’t mean to expose any private business conversations. I was hungover. I had a crazy night in Vegas. I was on my podcast. Sometimes I say too much. In fact, most times I say too much, Steve. I have a big mouth and a platform to say a bunch of sh** and I said a bunch of sh**. Sorry about that, Steve. I hope I didn’t ruin our relationship. Hope we can work together in the future.”

Logan Paul said he understood why Steve didn’t want to take the million dollars to be in the Prime bottle. He said it wasn’t really Austin’s style and that they knew it was a long shot. He called Steve Austin a legend and said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” He ended by saying he hopes to see Austin again and that there are no hard feelings.

“By the way, I completely understand why you wouldn’t accept the million dollars to get in the Prime bottle. It’s not your thing. We know it was a reach. You’re a legend. And you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, Steve. So we tried, it didn’t work out this time. Hope to see you in the future. Hope you’re not mad at me, Mr Cold.”

This comes after Steve Austin revealed that he declined Logan Paul’s offer. He explained that he already has his own beer, Broken Skull, and doesn’t really know much about Logan Paul’s drink, so he wasn’t interested.

Austin said he didn’t mean any disrespect to Logan or PRIME, it just wasn’t the right fit for him. He also said dressing up like a PRIME bottle isn’t something he’d do. He gave Logan Paul credit for working hard, but the offer just didn’t feel like something he should do.

“Man, if he said that, I’m not gonna call him a liar. I just thought that was personal business, but since it’s out there—yeah, I turned it down. I’m in the beer business, I sell Broken Skull beer. I don’t know anything about his product, the ingredients, or whether it’s good or bad or whatever. It just wasn’t my thing. So, you know, I turned it down just because I wasn’t into it. No disrespect to him or his product.

No man, that’s not my gimmick. He’s doing really well—obviously he’s hustling, and more power to him—but it just wasn’t a great fit for Steve Austin.”

With that said, WWE Hall of Famer RVD made it clear he is 100% open to wearing a PRIME bottle costume for $1 million. Regardless, Logan Pau felt it was necessary to apologize to Steve Austin, and even though he was addressing a poster of Austin, fans felt his apology was genuine, and that’s all that mattered in the end.
