Liv Morgan is branching further into the entertainment world, and she credits WWE for giving her the tools needed to feel comfortable in front of cameras far beyond the wrestling ring.

During a conversation with Brad Gilmore, Morgan spoke about her transition into acting and what it has been like working on film sets compared to the nonstop pace of WWE. She explained that filming movies requires a completely different rhythm, often involving long stretches of waiting before performing emotionally intense scenes. Despite those differences, Morgan said her experience in WWE made the transition much easier than she expected.

Morgan first broke down how the pace of film production differs from the fast-moving WWE environment, describing the challenge of staying mentally and emotionally ready after hours of downtime.

“Very different pacing. Very different pacing. You know, WWE, I'm running around all day long. I'm doing something all day long. Filming on a film set, it's like hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, hurry up, and then wait. You know, it's like we have these early call times. We have to be hair and makeup ready at this specific time, but then, you know, they're not ready for you yet. So, you're kind of waiting for like five, six hours. You know, adrenaline goes down, energy goes down, you're kind of feeling like emotionally cold, and then all of a sudden they're like, ‘All right, let's go.’ And you're like, ‘Oh my gosh, I'm about to go film this really emotionally driven scene, and I've been sitting in my dressing room for seven hours,’ you know, and so it's a different preparation. It's a different pacing.”

Morgan then made it clear that, even with those challenges, her time in WWE gave her the confidence to handle acting environments because they feel familiar to her.

“But at the same token, I do feel like all of my WWE experience has made me super comfortable in the environment. Like when I'm getting the opportunity to do acting and I'm on set, I feel like I'm doing like a backstage for WWE. You know, the environment feels very same. I feel like we kind of don't really understand all the tools that WWE gives us until we are in a different environment and get to use them.”

Morgan’s comments come as she continues expanding her work outside the ring, including her upcoming role in the film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo. With WWE stars increasingly appearing in movies and television projects, her experience reflects how the company continues to serve as a launching pad for performers looking to grow their careers into other forms of entertainment.

As Morgan prepares for major matches inside WWE while also stepping into film roles, her ability to balance both worlds could shape the next phase of her career in a major way.
