Liv Morgan finally revealed why she didn’t go straight for the Women’s World Championship after making her return at WWE Survivor Series 2025—and according to her, it was all part of the plan.

Speaking on the Raw Recap show, Morgan made it clear that the decision wasn’t about stepping back—it was about stepping in where the opportunity made the most sense.

“Yeah, you know, Big Sexy, Raquel Rodriguez—she already claimed her stake for the Women’s World Championship, so that left the Tag Team Titles for Roxy and me.”

Liv went on to break down how her return is aligned with continuing The Judgment Day’s run of dominance, starting with Dominik Mysterio, as she made it clear that she and Perez will become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, while Raquel Rodríguez will win the Women’s World Title.

“So I’m gonna continue the tradition of Judgment Day holding all the gold—it’s going to start with, actually it already starts with Dominik—Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion—shoutout to Daddy Dom. Roxy and I are gonna continue that by becoming the Women’s Tag Team Champions—and Raquel’s gonna become the Women’s World Champion.”

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez are now locked in for a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24 in Montreal—a match that could change the entire women’s division landscape.

While fans initially expected Liv to rejoin the singles title picture, her comments confirm this isn’t a detour—it’s a strategy. If Morgan and Perez win in Montreal, Judgment Day could soon be dripping in championship gold across all divisions.

Do you think Liv Morgan made the right call by focusing on the tag titles? Or should she have gone straight for Stephanie Vaquer’s gold? Drop your thoughts below.
