Liv Morgan is stepping back into the spotlight—just not inside the WWE ring yet.
The former WWE Women’s Champion turned heads on Thursday night as she walked the red carpet at the Stranger Things Season 5 world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Morgan was among a stacked guest list of celebrities invited to the exclusive event, just weeks before the Netflix series drops its final season.
This appearance marks another step in Morgan’s steady re-emergence, as WWE fans eagerly await her return following shoulder surgery. She’s been sidelined since June, when she suffered a dislocated shoulder just before her scheduled match with Nikki Bella at WWE Evolution 2025. WWE sources say she’s on track to be cleared by early 2026—just in time for WrestleMania season.
In the meantime, Liv isn’t slowing down outside the ring. She was recently announced as one of the stars of Lids’ new ALL CAPS holiday campaign, joining WWE’s Dominik Mysterio and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. And her Hollywood résumé continues to grow—she starred in The Kill Room with Uma Thurman and Joe Manganiello, made a cameo in Chucky, and will appear in the upcoming film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.
The synergy between Liv’s Hollywood moves and WWE’s growing relationship with Netflix is hard to miss. The streaming giant becomes the new U.S. home for Monday Night Raw in 2025—the same platform Stranger Things will close out its epic run on, starting November 26.
Liv Morgan might be out of action, but her name keeps getting louder—and by the time WrestleMania rolls around, she could be front and center once again.
