Liv Morgan Explains Why She’s Unbothered by Criticism and Backed by Loyal WWE Fans

Liv Morgan isn’t wasting time worrying about online trolls—and she’s got the numbers to back it up.

During her appearance on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, the 2026 Royal Rumble winner was asked about her massive social media reach. She was quick to acknowledge the support from the WWE Universe, but also made it clear that outside criticism doesn’t faze her in the slightest. When asked how she handles social media backlash or unsolicited opinions, Morgan didn’t sugarcoat her response:

“Yeah, honestly, and I mean this like respectfully, I don't really care about your criticism. If you're not like my boss, if you're not someone that I'm asking critique for, if you're not my boss, I respectfully don't care about what you have to say or what your opinion is.”

“Everyone is entitled to opinion. You know, all opinions are welcome, but it doesn't affect me whether it's positive or negative because I only care about what my bosses think.”

So how did she build one of the most loyal fanbases in WWE? According to Liv, it’s all about the journey—one that her fans have been part of since day one.

“I think the fans have been on this journey with me since I've started. You know, I went from someone that maybe you thought had potential, but maybe never was really going to make it.”

“My first match on WWE television, I didn't even have a name. I was like ‘local competitor.’ And so, they've seen me just go from just starting in this business... to 10, 11 years later, making my way to the very top of the company.”

She reflected on how the connection with fans was forged during her toughest moments—when there wasn’t much to celebrate, but they stayed loyal anyway.

“They kind of never wavered, even in moments where maybe I gave them nothing to really support me about—and they did. And now I hope they feel vindicated that they stuck with me through the hard times. And now here we are… Royal Rumble winner… going into WrestleMania.”

Morgan’s combination of authenticity, resilience, and unapologetic honesty has made her one of the most relatable Superstars in the game. While others chase likes, she’s focused on loyalty—and it’s paying off.
