Liv Morgan is setting the record straight on Dominik Mysterio’s controversial moment during WWE Raw’s massive Netflix premiere on January 6.

The night saw Rhea Ripley reclaim the Women’s World Championship in a brutal showdown against Liv Morgan, but what happened after the match had fans talking just as much as the action inside the ring. After Ripley’s big win, Dominik Mysterio slid into the ring, seemingly trying to embrace Ripley—only to get dropped with a low blow and a Rip Tide.

Many speculated that Dom was flirting with Rhea, betraying his on-screen ties to Liv Morgan. But now, Liv is shutting down those rumors.

During an appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast, Liv revealed that Dom wasn’t trying to cozy up to Ripley—he was actually trying to help her.

“You know, that’s not what he was doing. He was actually going to steal the title back for me from her, and he got caught.”

So there you have it—Dominik wasn’t looking to reunite with Mami, he was just on a failed mission for Liv. But was he really trying to help, or did he just get caught in a bad spot? With Liv still defending him and Rhea holding the gold, this saga is far from over.

Do you buy Liv’s explanation, or do you think Dom’s got some explaining to do? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
