Liv Morgan didn’t need a ring to command attention Thursday night.
The former WWE Women’s Champion hit the red carpet at the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles—and dropped a cryptic update on her return to WWE. Morgan, who’s been out of action since June with a dislocated shoulder, stunned at the TCL Chinese Theatre as Netflix rolled out the red carpet for its flagship series. And while cameras were focused on the final season of Stranger Things, Netflix took the opportunity to ask Liv directly when she’d be stepping back into the WWE ring. Her response? Short—but far from silent.
“I think that everyone’s just going to have to watch me,” she said with a grin, dodging a concrete timeline but throwing just enough fuel on the comeback fire.
Morgan’s return has been one of the biggest question marks for WWE fans in 2025. She was originally slated for a match with Nikki Bella at WWE Evolution this summer, but her injury forced her out. WWE sources have maintained she’s on track to be medically cleared by early 2026—right as WrestleMania season heats up.
In the meantime, Liv has been turning heads outside the squared circle. She’s starring in the upcoming film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, joined ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and Dominik Mysterio in Lids’ new “ALL CAPS” holiday campaign, and previously appeared in The Kill Room with Uma Thurman and Chucky on USA Network.
There’s also a growing synergy that fans can’t ignore: WWE RAW moves to Netflix in 2025—the same platform powering Stranger Things. Liv Morgan’s appearance at the premiere might not be random at all.
Whether she returns on RAW, at the Royal Rumble, or right before WrestleMania, Liv Morgan clearly has big plans—and she’s making sure all eyes are on her.
