A familiar face from WWE’s history has been spotted behind the scenes at SummerSlam Saturday.
According to Fightful Select, Linda McMahon is backstage at the show. No further details have been provided about her involvement, but given Stephanie McMahon’s appearance on the SummerSlam kickoff show, it’s likely Linda is simply there alongside her daughter for the event.
Linda McMahon, a former WWE executive and on-screen personality, hasn’t been a regular presence at WWE events in years, so her appearance adds a little extra nostalgia to the weekend’s festivities at MetLife Stadium.
With WWE SummerSlam Saturday featuring major bouts like CM Punk vs. GUNTHER and Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill, Linda’s backstage presence is another reminder of the McMahon family’s deep ties to the company’s biggest shows.
