Lince Dorado is officially back in WWE. After stepping down as Lucha Premier Champion earlier this week, rumors swirled about what was next for the high-flying luchador. That speculation ended on Friday night when Dorado made his return at an NXT house show in Citrus Springs, Florida.

Dorado wasted no time making it official, taking to Twitter/X right after his match to confirm the news. “Cats out of the bag! Time to get #luchalit @WWENXT #NXTCitrusSprings,” he wrote.

The details of his contract are still under wraps, and there’s no confirmed date for his return to NXT TV, but his in-ring comeback makes one thing clear—he’s ready to make an impact.

Dorado’s WWE journey started in 2016 when he turned heads in the Cruiserweight Classic, earning a spot on 205 Live before forming Lucha House Party with Gran Metalik and Kalisto. After being released in 2021, he kept the lucha spirit alive on the independent scene, wrestling internationally and competing in MLW.

With NXT always looking for fresh energy, Dorado’s return brings veteran experience and a unique style that could shake up the division. Whether he’s eyeing championship gold or looking to team up once again, his next steps will be worth watching.
