Lexy Nair Explains How She And Big Bill Started Dating

Big Bill and Lexy Nair’s relationship didn’t start inside a wrestling ring — it actually goes back to a completely unexpected moment long before she ever stepped into the business.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo on March 28, 2026, Lexy Nair opened up about how their relationship began, taking things back to her time living with her stepfather DDP, before she had any connection to wrestling. At the time, she explained she was focused on a different career path and completely unaware of the revolving door of wrestlers coming through her home. According to Lexy, most of the people staying at the house were older wrestlers, so she wasn’t exactly expecting what happened next when Big Bill showed up.

“We’re going back to Dallas. Like this was before I even got into wrestling at all. I was again pursuing another career, and Dallas has people over all the time, and for the most part, they’re older wrestlers. They’re not like young like super cute, you know, wrestlers coming in staying with us and doing DDP Yoga.”

She made it clear she had no idea who was coming or going at the time, and she was simply living her life — until that one unexpected arrival changed everything. Then came the moment she first saw Big Bill — and it caught her completely off guard.

“So, I had no knowledge of like our house was a revolving door years ago, and so so many people would come and stay with us, and I had no idea who was coming, who was going, whatever. I just yeah, I was like living my life and whatever. So, he came by, and I was like in my bathrobe and like no makeup. My hair was crazy, and I was just like, ‘You guys couldn’t have given me the 411 that there’s this super cute like tall like jacked guy coming and staying with us for the weekend? Are you kidding me? What the heck?’”

Despite the awkward first impression, Nair said the two didn’t rush into anything — instead building a friendship that naturally turned into something more. Over time, that connection evolved into a relationship that’s now lasted nearly seven years.

“We were friends at first. I tried to play it cool, but I was totally thrown off. I ran upstairs, got ready, came back down, tried to act all cool — and we just developed this really great friendship at first And then it eventually turned into a romance, and we haven’t looked back since. That was almost seven years ago, which is crazy.”

That unexpected first meeting eventually turned into something much bigger, leading to their engagement in 2022 and their wedding a couple of years later — marking a full-circle moment from a random introduction to a lifelong partnership.
