Lexis King has finally addressed his absence from WWE NXT, and according to him, it wasn’t due to injury or creative limbo—he just needed a break.

The NXT star took to Twitter to personally apologize to his loyal “Intellexuals” for missing the past few weeks of action. While his disappearance left some fans wondering what was next for him, King made it clear he’s back and ready to get back to business.

“I want to apologize to all of my Intellexuals for my absence from NXT these past couple weeks… It was a much needed break, and I haven’t even gotten my hair cut in over two weeks, but it’s safe to say the King has returned!!!”

To drive the point home, King shared a photo of himself with his barber, proudly showing off his fresh beard trim.

The former Brian Pillman Jr. was last seen in action on the February 25 episode of NXT, where he put on a strong fight against TNA Division Champion Moose, though he ultimately took the loss. With King now back in the mix—and still holding the Heritage Cup Title—fans are eager to see what’s next for him.
