“BREAKING… New WWE ID Women’s Champion @LaynieLuck is set for her first title defense! It will be vs. Rachel Ley at @DWWrestling @UprisingWomen_ on December 5th in LaSalle, IL! If Ley wins, she will earn a WWE ID contract and become the new WWE ID Champion!”

Luck earned her spot by winning a last-minute qualifier and then dominating in a six-way elimination match at Wrestling Open RI on November 17. She wasn’t even scheduled to compete in the title match—but once she got in, she made it count.
