WWE NXT just added another match to its June 10 episode on The CW—and this one’s got serious heat behind it.

The newly announced tag match will see Josh Briggs team up with Yoshiki Inamura to take on The Culling’s Shawn Spears and Niko Vance. This isn’t just a random matchup—it’s directly tied to the chaos that unfolded on the June 3 episode of NXT.

During that episode, The Culling’s Izzi Dame shocked fans by blasting Brooks Jensen in the back with a steel chair. The move came out of nowhere—but Spears and Vance stood by her actions. According to them, Izzi claimed that Jensen “was not all for the group.” With that, The Culling cut ties and drew a hard line. Now Josh Briggs, Jensen’s longtime tag partner, is stepping up—with heavy-hitter Inamura in his corner.

This match could be Briggs’ shot at payback for the betrayal and a chance to put The Culling in check.

Full updated lineup for the June 10 edition of NXT on The CW:

  • Lucha Crusifino & Tony D’Angelo vs. Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe
  • Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears & Niko Vance)
  • NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Sean Legacy
  • NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Jasper Troy

With titles on the line and alliances exploding, this episode looks like it’s going to be anything but quiet.

Will Briggs and Inamura shut down The Culling’s momentum—or is this just the beginning of their takeover? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know who you’re backing this Tuesday.
