Just hours before TNA iMPACT goes live, a major match has been added to the lineup: Moose will be in action against Cedric Alexander—despite recently claiming a serious back injury.

TNA confirmed that the former World Champion will step into the ring on the January 22 edition of Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC, facing off against the high-flying Alexander in a one-on-one showdown. The announcement comes as a surprise, especially after Moose cited a significant back issue following his triple threat match at TNA Genesis, which also featured Alexander and Joe Hendry.

Hendry walked away with the win at Genesis, and Moose’s status was left uncertain—until now. Moose has remained cryptic about his condition on social media, but tonight’s matchup may offer clarity on whether his injury claim was legit or a mind game aimed at staying one step ahead of his rivals.

This late addition bolsters an already loaded card as TNA looks to keep momentum rolling into its second episode on AMC.

Updated January 22 TNA iMPACT Lineup:

  • Mike Santana speaks as TNA World Champion
  • Elayna Black addresses the Knockouts Division
  • The System reveals its newest member
  • Jeff Hardy vs. Mustafa Ali
  • Feast or Fired Match
  • M By Elegance vs. Indi Hartwell
  • Moose vs. Cedric Alexander ← Just added

TNA iMPACT airs live tonight at 9 PM ET on AMC, Sportsnet, and TNA+ from the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Stay tuned to Ringside News for live play-by-play coverage.
