WWE star Lash Legend is trying to turn WrestleMania 42 into a full-blown hip-hop moment.
During a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, the WWE star revealed that she personally invited Memphis rapper GloRilla to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Legend has previously shown love to the rapper, even snapping a photo with her at a Toronto Raptors game. Now she’s hoping that connection leads to a major celebrity appearance on WWE’s biggest stage. While talking about the invite, Legend didn’t hold back about shooting her shot.
“I actually asked her, I was like, ‘Girl, WrestleMania is coming up.’ So I invited her to WrestleMania. She said she gonna come through, let’s see if my girl comes through.”
If GloRilla does show up, it would continue WWE’s recent push to align with major female rap stars. Sexyy Red made appearances on NXT in 2024, Cardi B hosted SummerSlam in 2025, and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Neva Play” currently serves as the theme song for SmackDown.
GloRilla last performed in Las Vegas in September 2025 during the iHeartRadio Music Festival, so a return to the city for WrestleMania wouldn’t be out of the question.
With WrestleMania 42 set for Las Vegas, the potential crossover between WWE and one of hip-hop’s biggest names could bring even more attention to the event. Now it’s just a matter of whether GloRilla actually comes through like she said.
