LA Knight isn’t leaving WWE—despite how things looked after his beatdown on RAW.

On the January 7 episode of WWE RAW, Knight took a loss to Logan Paul and got roughed up in a four-on-one attack. After that, he was ambushed again backstage to end the show, leading fans to speculate about his future. Rumors swirled online about Knight being written off TV—or even walking away from WWE completely.

But sources say that’s not the case at all. Knight re-signed with WWE in 2024 and still has several years left on his current contract. When Fightful Select reached out to contacts inside the company, they said there’s no truth to the speculation.

One source explained that it was all part of the story, “It was a standard story beat that will be revisited.”

As for theories that Knight was being punished for holding up a “We want LA Knight, not Jey Uso” sign last month? WWE creative quickly shot that down. One insider told Fightful that logic didn’t even add up, “Being booked to beat Jey Uso would be a weird punishment.”

So, what’s next for LA Knight? That’s still unclear, but he’s not going anywhere. LA Knight may have gotten laid out on RAW, but don’t count him out. He’s still under contract, still making noise backstage, and if history tells us anything—it’s that WWE doesn’t leave a guy like him down for long. Whether it’s Logan Paul or someone else, Knight’s payback is just a matter of time.

What do you think WWE is setting up with LA Knight? Should he get revenge on Logan Paul—or is something bigger coming? Let us know what you think in the comments.
