LA Knight is officially backstage at tonight’s WWE Monday Night RAW in Düsseldorf, Germany, according to an update from Fightful Select. While it’s still unclear if he’ll appear on camera, the fact that WWE flew him out mid-tour is a strong sign that something is in the works.
Knight has been off WWE television since suffering a cracked sternum during a brutal attack by The Vision and Bronson Reed on the December 8, 2025 episode of SmackDown. WWE later announced he was sidelined “indefinitely,” with no timeline given for his return. That injury was confirmed on-air by Joe Tessitore the following week.
After over a month away, Knight’s status shifted when it was reported on Sunday that he was scheduled to travel to Germany—home of this week’s RAW. We can now confirm he was planned to be backstage at today’s show.
Historically, WWE doesn’t fly talent internationally without a reason, and Knight has already been internally listed for Royal Rumble week in Saudi Arabia. WWE is said to be positioning him for a top babyface run in 2026, with a renewed push on the horizon.
Knight also signed a lucrative multi-year contract extension in Summer 2025, further solidifying his place in WWE’s long-term plans.
Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of this week’s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the episode will turn out.
Will LA Knight make his on-screen return in Germany, or is WWE saving the big moment for Royal Rumble? Drop your thoughts below—do you want to see him back tonight?
