Celebrities competing in WWE has become more common than ever before, with the likes of Bad Bunny and Logan Paul showing they have more than what it takes to compete as a WWE Superstar. However, LA Knight isn’t necessarily a fan of celebrities joining WWE and has now explained why he feels that way.

While speaking on the Battleground Podcast, LA Knight revealed his thoughts on celebrities joining wrestling. He said it’s important to be careful about who gets physically involved because not everyone has the athletic ability needed for the sport.

Knight explained that many people try wrestling without the right skills, and he wonders why they think they can do it. LA Knight also mentioned that having too many celebrities in wrestling gives the wrong idea that anyone can do it, but in reality, only a few people can do it well.

“It really depends. Personally, I think you have to be a little choosy about who comes in and gets physically involved because not everyone has an athletic bone in their body. If you go to any wrestling school on any given day, you’ll see a lot of that. You have to wonder—why do you think you can do this? Why are you even stepping into the ring? Some people just don’t have the athletic ability for it.

Not everybody can do this. That’s my one issue with having too many celebrities involved—it gives people the idea that anyone can do it. But not everyone can. Very few people can actually do this and do it well.”

LA Knight praised Logan Paul, calling him a great athlete who can do crazy moves that even he wouldn’t try. He said Logan has the ability to make it work in the ring. As for Bad Bunny, Knight said if someone has loved wrestling their whole life, they might have a chance but stressed that you still need the right skills and physical ability. He added that while celebrities like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny have proven themselves, wrestling isn’t for everyone.

“I’ll give credit to Logan Paul—he’s an incredible athlete. He can do a lot of crazy things that I wouldn’t even dare to try. But at the same time, he has the aptitude to put it all together.

You mentioned Bad Bunny. Look, if wrestling is something you’ve been passionate about your whole life, then there’s a chance. But at the end of the day, you still need the right aptitude, the physicality, and the athleticism. If you have that, sure, go ahead and do it. But you have to be realistic with yourself.”

While celebrities like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny have shown they can succeed in WWE, Knight’s comments bring up an important point: wrestling isn’t for everyone. There’s a delicate balance between celebrating celebrities who excel and flooding the industry with non-wrestlers who may not have the skills needed, so fans might agree with what he had to say as well.
