During a conversation on Casual Conversations with the Classic, Knight was asked if his perspective on Paul had changed after stepping into the ring with him. At first, he didn’t hesitate to stay in character, but then he broke away from his usual sharp-tongued persona to acknowledge Logan’s abilities.

“No, he’s still a punk ass piece of trash,” Knight initially said before taking a more serious tone. “No, he’s—he’s a hell of an athlete. He can do all kinds of wild things that I wouldn’t even want to try or begin to try. Sometimes it’s almost like he’s got a death wish with some of these things. But he’s got just a willingness to go in there and do just about anything.”

Knight admitted that Logan is still figuring things out but credited his dedication. “Honestly, in a lot of ways, he’s just getting started. He’s still got a long way to go in that regard, but he’s willing to figure things out and put his all into it, so I can say that.”

For someone as brash and outspoken as LA Knight, dropping his signature insults—even for a moment—is a big deal. It’s clear that while he may not be Logan Paul’s biggest fan, he recognizes the work and risk-taking that Paul brings to the ring.
