LA Knight has the catchphrases, the crowd reactions, and the momentum — but he still doesn’t have a world title. Now, he’s admitting that part stings.

Speaking on ESPN SportsCenter, Knight was asked if he’s still having fun in WWE despite not being positioned as the company’s top guy. While he made it clear he’s enjoying the ride, he also didn’t hide the reality that things haven’t been perfect.

“It’s a good time. There’s definitely frustrations here and there. You can’t be in something you love and not from time to time…passion is sometimes full of anger. There’s no way not to have a little bit of that in there. But as far as what we’re doing and as far as what I’m doing, it’s been a hell of a run, it’s been a hell of a ride. I’m having fun where I can pick my spots. It’s just trying to unplug when I actually have the chance to go home and be at home and enjoy that time.”

Translation? He loves it — but he wants more. Knight has been one of WWE’s hottest babyfaces for the last three years. He beat AJ Styles at WrestleMania 40. He stepped into a major spotlight at WrestleMania 41 against Jacob Fatu. Still, the one thing missing from his résumé is a world championship.

After grinding for 23 years in the business, he believes the main event of WrestleMania 42 should already have his name written on it. That path could start this Saturday inside the Elimination Chamber. Knight joins Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Jey Uso with a WrestleMania title shot on the line. The winner moves on to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

And just to complicate things further, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE this week, shaking up the Road to WrestleMania. At one point, rumors suggested Knight could be lined up opposite “The Beast” in Vegas. Now, that direction appears uncertain.

Knight isn’t complaining. He’s not throwing anyone under the bus. But the message is clear: he’s tired of being close. Elimination Chamber could be his breakthrough moment — or another chapter in the story of “almost.”

Does LA Knight finally kick the door down at WrestleMania 42, or will those frustrations turn into something louder if he falls short again? Sound off below.
