Kyle O’Reilly might be getting ready to step back into an AEW ring, and he’s hinting that the timing could line up perfectly with a major pay-per-view in his home province.

In a preview clip released ahead of a full interview with This is VANCOLOUR, O’Reilly teased that he’s working toward being ready for AEW Dynasty, which takes place April 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The tease caught attention quickly, especially since the event is happening close to where O’Reilly grew up in Delta, British Columbia.

During the clip, O’Reilly hinted that fans could see him sooner than expected, dropping a playful tease about possibly returning in time for the event.

“I really wanna be ready in time for the Vancouver pay-per-view, which is Dynasty, coming up this weekend from Rogers Arena. So wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Maybe I’ll be back in time for that.”

O’Reilly has been sidelined since late 2025 after revealing he was dealing with multiple injuries, including a bulging disc in his neck and a fractured arm. Those issues kept him out of action following his last AEW match at Full Gear in November 2025, where he picked up a hard-fought win over Jon Moxley in a No Holds Barred match.

With Dynasty taking place in Vancouver, the possibility of O’Reilly returning in front of a hometown crowd adds extra interest to the event. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, his comments suggest that he’s pushing to be cleared in time for the show.

Do you think Kyle O’Reilly will actually return at AEW Dynasty, or is this just a tease to build excitement ahead of the pay-per-view? Let us know your thoughts and share your feedback below.
