Kyle Fletcher Explains Why He Shaved His Head

Kyle Fletcher shocked fans when he shaved off his head back in October last year. Fans have since gotten used to his current shaved look and he’s now revealed why he shaved his head in the first place.

While speaking to Denise Saledo, Kyle Fletcher explained that before he shaved his head, he always loved how rock stars would go through different phases, changing their hairstyles and getting big reactions from fans.

Fletcher admitted that was part of his thought process. He wanted to be like a music guy who keeps a certain look for a couple of years and then switches it up, making everyone go, “Oh my god.” That’s really what inspired him to do it.

“So, really, it was like — so that was the original like whatever. But I kind of thought before I shaved my head, I was like, I love when rock stars go through phases of like, ‘Oh, that’s their hairstyle now,’ and then they change their hair and everyone’s like, ‘Oh my god.’ So that was kind of the thought process that I had. I was like, I’m going to be like a music guy and I’ll go a couple years with this style and then I’ll change it and everyone will be like, ‘Oh my god.’ So yeah, that was kind of it.”

The Protostar is currently set to challenge Adam Cole for the TNT Championship at All In: Texas, so we’ll have to wait and see if he’ll become the new champion. No matter what, his current shaved look has definitely helped him look like a star, so fans are clearly more behind him now.
