Kyle Fletcher went back to where it all started — and he didn’t show up empty-handed.
After winning the AEW TNT Championship on Dynamite, Fletcher returned to Pro Wrestling Australia at the Metro Theatre in Sydney, the same place he began training at just 14 years old. The hometown crowd at PWA Colosseum 2026 let him know exactly how they felt, showering him with loud “Welcome home” chants.
Standing in the ring with the TNT Title over his shoulder, Fletcher made it clear that no matter how far his career takes him, he’s repping Sydney and PWA everywhere he goes.
“Everywhere I go all over the entire world I will always be flying the PWA flag. I will always be flying the flag for Sydney, for Australia, and for each and every one of you motherf—–s right here. Tonight, I brought the AEW TNT Championship back to PWA and one day it will be the world f—-ing title, I promise you.”
The moment hit different considering Fletcher had just defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the TNT Title. Now, he heads into AEW Grand Slam Australia with momentum on his side, where he’s set to defend the belt against Mark Briscoe in a ladder match at Qudos Bank Arena.
Bringing the championship back to the building where his journey began was a statement. Promising the world title next was an even bigger one.
