Kris Statlander is drawing a hard line between herself and Mercedes Moné—and she’s making it crystal clear that confidence, legacy, and fame won’t be enough when they meet at AEW Full Gear 2025.

In a fiery backstage segment on the November 8 edition of AEW Collision, Statlander issued a direct warning to Moné, who she’ll face at Blood & Guts and then again for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear later this month.

“Mercedes, you have a lot that I will never have. More success, more accolades, more confidence, and more legacy than any woman in wrestling history. But there is one thing… well, maybe two… that I have and you don’t. Focus.”

Statlander claims Moné’s recent loss in the Women’s World Tag Team Title tournament was proof that she’s distracted—and that same lack of tunnel vision will cost her again.

“You were eliminated from the tag tournament because you were not focused on me. And now I will follow you into Blood and Guts, and I will go through whoever I have to until you are focused on me.”

She didn’t stop there. Statlander took aim at Moné’s flashy lifestyle, hinting that Mercedes treats wrestling like a fashion statement—while she treats it like war.

“If you think this is just some other side piece you can scribble on a cake or have a nameless male bimbo carry behind you, well then, you would be wrong in the most extraordinary of ways.”

Statlander reminded fans of their very first clash one year ago and warned that even with Moné’s full attention, she still won’t be able to take the title.

“At Full Gear, one year after we fought for the very first time in a completely different world, your focus will be full, your vision will be clear, and it still won’t make a difference.”

With tensions already boiling over ahead of Blood and Guts, it’s clear this feud goes deeper than just wins and losses. For Statlander, it’s personal—and she’s daring Moné to actually care enough to lose.
